Also concerning this is the role that Shaw gives to women in this process of creative evolution, by making the female the dominant gender, and in so doing radically deconstructing the deeply rooted 19th century view of woman as a being whose natural habitat is the family home, and whose role in wooing is exclusively passive. Such an attitude led many critics to believe that Shaw was a misogynist of the same kind as Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. Downloads Download data is not yet available.

What is noble? What betrays, what allows one to recognize the noble human being, under this heavy, overcast sky of the beginning rule of the plebs that makes everything opaque and leaden? It is not the works, it is the faith that is decisive here, that determines the order of rank — to take up again an ancient religious formula in a new and more profound sense: some fundamental certainty that a noble soul has about itself, something that cannot be sought, nor found, nor perhaps lost. Misattributed [ edit ] A moral system valid for all is basically immoral. Generally attributed to Nietzsche, this is a quotation from Curtis Cate's Friedrich Nietzsche: A Biography and is the author's interpretation of Nietzsche's Aphorism

Ok, from what I see in the gymnastics tag I guess everyone agrees on the stupidity of tie breakers. Now I just feel really really sorry for Ponor, just like I felt sorry for Raisman when she lost her bronze to Mustafina in a tie break. Okay I am totally ditching the American girl and rooting for the Romanian one on the Olympics. She was so great and cute and energetic and had a ton of potential. Her floor is one of my favorite routines of all time. It just suited her so well!!!
Oh no, there's been an error
